Last updated July 2026. ## These terms These terms apply to work carried out by Manchester Heating Services Ltd, 47 Urmston Lane, Stretford, Manchester, M32 9BG. Accepting a quote from us means accepting these terms. ## Quotes Quotes are free and issued in writing, normally within 24 hours of your enquiry. Figures given over the phone before we have seen the job are indicative only. A quote covers the work described in it. Work that could not reasonably be seen at the time of quoting — for example buried pipework found to be defective once floors are lifted — will be raised with you and priced separately before it is carried out. Boiler installations start from £1,800. The final price depends on the appliance chosen and the work involved. ## Bookings and access Once a quote is accepted we agree a date with you. Please make sure we have access to the property, the boiler or system, and to gas, water and electrical isolation points on the day. If we cannot access the property on an agreed date, we may need to reschedule. ## Payment Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Materials for larger installations may require a deposit, which will be stated in writing before work starts. We do not currently offer finance. Every job is quoted as a straight price with no added extras afterwards. ## Guarantee and warranties All of our workmanship is covered by a 12-month guarantee from the date of completion. If a fault arises from our workmanship in that period, contact us and we will return to put it right. Boiler replacements carry manufacturer warranties of up to 12 years, depending on the model fitted. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer's own terms, including any requirement for annual servicing. Our guarantee does not cover faults caused by third-party work carried out after us, misuse, lack of required servicing, frost damage, or pre-existing parts of a system that we did not supply or install. ## Insurance We hold public liability and employers' liability insurance up to £2 million, and we are a verified Checkatrade member. ## Emergency call-outs Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. The phone is answered anytime for emergencies — no heat, no hot water or a leak. Attendance times depend on where the property is and what else is in progress; we will tell you honestly when we can be there. ## Cancellation You can cancel a booking by telling us as soon as possible. Where materials have already been ordered specifically for your job, or where work has begun, we may charge for those costs. ## Complaints If something isn't right, call 07398 230231 or email info@manchesterheatingservices.co.uk and we will deal with it directly.
